As we continue to develop the sensation of the movement of breath within and learn to allow the natural breath to come and go on its own, an awareness of how each breath cycle moves us begins to grow. We begin to recognize that breath not only gives life to our inner world, it also connects us to the outside world. Through breath and movement classes, the natural movement of our breath can offer guidance and support as we move into the outside world. It is through this connection between our inner world and the outer world that we begin to understand the relevance of breath and movement.

Breath & Movement can be taught individually and to groups in classes or workshops. The learning process is based upon experience. Through simple movements participants learn to focus on and sense not only the movement of breath in their bodies but also how they are moved by the breath. They begin to become aware of breath laws and principles that are present and learn that giving attention to these laws and principles will support a shift in their patterns of movement. They begin to consciously experience the meaning of their personal breath movement and become aware of a distinction between moving themselves in the world and being moved by the breath.

As we develop through breath and movement we begin to experience a strong connection between our inner and outer worlds and we become aware of movement as a creative source for self-expression. We experience ourselves being moved by the breath, not only inside, but also into the outer world. Movement out of breath becomes the definition of the true essence of Self.
